🐕 Codex quota exhausted?

Out of Codex quota?
Get the work moving first.

Tell the dog where you are stuck. Get a tool that works well, costs sensibly, and can actually continue your project.

Find my next tool

Three quick questions. Hard requirements are satisfied first; ranking never involves commissions.

Step 1 of 3

What do you want to keep doing?

🏃 Switch tools without starting over.

Generate a handoff prompt that carries your goal, progress, and constraints to the next tool — no re-explaining.

Build a handoff prompt

🧰 Keep a backup plan.

Save tools you own or liked into your backup toolbox. Next time Codex runs dry, the dog starts with what you already have.

How ResetDog picks tools

Not a leaderboard. Five things, in this order:

  1. Task fit

Whether the tool can actually do what you are trying to continue.

  2. Real capabilities

Read project, edit files, run commands, images, long runs — stated honestly, “unknown” never counts as support.

  3. Price & quota source

Where the usage comes from: your existing plan, a free tier, or extra payment.

  4. Main limitations

The catches, written out before you commit.

  5. Sources & disclosure

Official pages with check dates; if a referral link ever appears, it is labeled next to the link — and never changes ranking.

How tools get listed

  • Only tools we can trace to official sources are listed; every entry shows when it was last checked.
  • Recommendations are ranked by task fit and your hard requirements — never by commission.
  • No fake percentages, no “permanent free”, no “unlimited” claims. If something is unverified, it says so.
No referral links are active today. If that changes, links will be labeled and disclosed here first.
